Mike Greenfield, Founder, Chair

Mike Greenfield co-founded Change Research in 2017 to quickly, affordably, and accurately measure public opinion and enable leaders to better understand the needs of the people they serve. He was the company’s CEO from its founding until May 2022. Mike was PayPal’s first data scientist and built much of the company’s early fraud detection technology and he led the data analytics team for LinkedIn as the company grew from 250,000 users to 10,000,000 users. Before starting Change Research, Mike co-founded Circle of Moms, which helped millions of moms find information and support, and TeamRankings.com, which has helped thousands of people win their NCAA Tournament pools. Mike also currently serves as the President of the Board of the Greenfield Foundation. He holds a BS in Mathematical and Computational Science from Stanford University and lives in Palo Alto, CA.

Nicole Bare, President and CEO

Nicole Bare became CEO of Change Research in May 2022, after leading Embold Research and serving as Chief of Staff at Change Research. She brings a background in strategic communications for government, business, and nonprofits. Her track record includes driving record-breaking sales for a financial services organization, leading successful marketing campaigns for a global high-tech firm, and generating millions in publicity value for an online charitable event. She has worked closely with pollsters, creative teams, digital marketers, lobbyists, and PR pros to translate survey data into winning strategies.

Raffi Krikorian

Raffi Krikorian is Chief Technical Officer of Engineering at Emerson Collective, where he focuses on using technology and data to accelerate solutions that promote social good. Prior to joining Emerson Collective, Raffi served as the first Chief Technology Officer of the Democratic National Committee, where he used data, technology, and digital security to support the election processes of Democratic candidates up and down the ballot. Before moving to the political sector, he was the Engineering Director of Uber’s Advanced Technologies Center, where he led the rollout of the first passenger- carrying, self-driving car fleet. He also designed the backend infrastructure at Twitter, where he served as Vice President of Platform Engineering. Today, Raffi’s work at Emerson Collective leverages innovative technology to help rethink complex societal systems and improve the lives of individuals and communities..
